In May 2019, I gave a masterclass at Guildhall, School of Music and Drama in London and at the Franz Liszt Hochschule für Musik in Weimar. In February 2023, I was a guest to provide a masterclass at the Conservatorio Alfredo Casella in L’Aquila, Italy.
Bachelor & Master
I have been teaching Bachelor’s and Master’s students for over 16 years and during those years, I have gained a lot of experience in guiding young singers during their studies.
Young Talent Class:
Also for young talents starting at 14 years old, there is a lot of attention at ArtEZ in the form of the so-called Jong Talentklas. If you are still in secondary education, enjoy singing classical music, and are curious, please contact me for a trial lesson. If you are admitted to the Jong Talentklas, you will receive singing lessons at a conservatory level, perform at (school) concerts, and attend theory classes.
Preparatory Course:
If the level of the first year of the professional training program is still too high, you can participate in the pre-training program for a year. During that year, you will receive not only vocal lessons but also theory classes and, in consultation, you can follow vocal-related subjects.

I have extensive practical experience as a singer and as a professor of voice and I am connected with various conservatories in the Netherlands and abroad.

Soapera
In addition to teaching, I initiated and directed the opera spectacle ‘Soapera’ from ArtEZ in 2008 and 2009, based on Johann Strauss’ Die Fledermaus.
Il Segreto di Susanna
In 2010, the comic one-act opera “Il segreto di Susanna” by Wolf-Ferrari was performed in collaboration with “Symfonietta Aurora” (musicians from the Netherlands Symphony Orchestra) at the Twentse Welle museum.
For baritone Herman Daniel Mostert and soprano Lorena Medina, this meant the completion of their master’s degree. I was responsible for directing the production.
